Junior .NET Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing backend services and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with Entity Framework Core for database interactions.
• Help in implementing RESTful APIs and basic microservice components.
• Participate in debugging, fixing bugs, and optimizing application performance.
• Work closely with senior developers to understand technical requirements.
• Convert assigned tasks and user stories into workable code.
• Ensure timely delivery of assigned modules with proper quality.
• Support the team in basic design discussions and documentation.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
• Coordinate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth development flow.
• Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and task updates to leads or mentors.
• Contribute to a positive learning and team-oriented environment.

Qualification & Experience      

• 2-3 years of experience in .NET development (internship or academic project experience accepted).
• Good understanding of:
• .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
• Entity Framework Core
• REST API concepts
• SQL Server / PostgreSQL basics
• Familiarity with:
• Version control (Git)
• CI/CD concepts
• Cloud basics (Azure / AWS preferred)
• Docker fundamentals
• Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and basic design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and good communication abilities.
