Software Test Engineer (Backend/Infra Heavy)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design the overall solution architecture of various cloud-based services and functionalities.
• Design, develop, and maintain databases to meet the functional and business requirements.
• Conceptualize and develop data intensive/intelligent compute services in a scalable, and secure manner while meeting the cost-effectiveness targets.
• Design, develop, and manage data pipelines and processing infrastructure.
• Design and develop end-to-end full-stack functionalities and features.
• Design infrastructure to meet the requirement of various services (related to
• Ensure the platform is designed and developed in a cyber security compliant manner.
• Lead initiatives on platform integration with third party systems, migration, and lead on-prem design and development.
• Collaborate with the rest of the teams to design and launch additional/new features and services
• Develop and maintain the source codes and algorithms.
• Take ownership to incorporate customer feedback/release service updates.
• Maintain proper documentation at each level of the development and operation

Qualification & Experience

• Strong command over the DevOps ecosystem (Configuring CI/CD pipelines, hosting and configuring microservices with Docker and Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with developing & maintaining scalable cloud platforms/solutions/Applications on AWS/Azure in a high-growth environment.
• Highly skilled with full-stack programming languages/frame. (MERN stack) with proven records.
• A comprehensive understanding of cyber-security and proven experience in designing/developing cyber security compliant platforms/software solutions.
• Extensive experience with databases (structured, unstructured files, etc., including big data) design, management, optimization, and integration.
• Excellent working knowledge of designing and maintaining scalable, cost-effective, and secure data-intensive compute services and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of designing optimum solution architectures and developing associated backend services/infrastructure - databases, load balancing, autoscaling, microservice, optimization, and implementing system observability, etc.
• Excellent working knowledge of microservices frameworks.
• Experience in frontend and UI development.
• A total of 5+ years of dedicated/full-time software engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in scalable/secure backend infrastructure design/development/optimization and 2-3 years of dedicated experience in developing excellent frontend elements or functionalities.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with cross-functional dynamic teams.
• Strong technical and solution documentation skills - someone who understands the criticality of the solution and source-code documentation.
