GIS Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Design and develop GIS applications using Esri technologies such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online.
• Create custom tools and scripts using Python and JavaScript to enhance GIS functionality.
• Publish and manage map services and feature services to support GIS workflows.
• Perform spatial analysis and data processing tasks to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of GIS applications.
• Document workflows, technical specifications, and best practices for GIS solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies and trends.

Qualification & Experience       

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in GIS development, specifically for non-Utility Network implementations.
• Proficiency in Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online) and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with geodatabases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
