Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Assist end-users with system, network, and application-related issues.
- Perform system updates, software installations, and patch management.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Support basic networking tasks and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
- Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, network, and printer issues, providing on-site "hands-on" support or remote assistance.
- Asset Management: Install, configure, and upgrade desktop operating systems (Windows/Mac), applications, and hardware components.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, patching, and imaging of systems to ensure security and functionality.
- User Training: Provide basic training to users on hardware and software operations.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma holders or Graduates (Freshers welcome)
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of hardware troubleshooting
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willing to relocate to Bengaluru (if not currently based here)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Hardware Knowledge: Experience with laptops, desktop peripherals, and networking equipment (routers/switches).
- Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, move, and install computer equipment, often requiring travel to different workstations or offices.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in desktop/technical support (added advantage).
