QA Project Manager – Quality Assurance / Testing

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across multiple software projects.
• Plan and track testing efforts with developers and project teams.
• Create and manage test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Supervise and guide the QA team in manual and automated testing.
• Monitor QA metrics like defect counts and testing coverage.
• Identify risks early and suggest improvements to testing processes.
• Use tools like JIRA, TestRail, Selenium for testing and tracking.
• Share QA results and feedback with internal teams and clients.
• Promote a strong culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering (BE/BTech/MCA/MSc/ME/MTech) or a related technical field.
• Strong QA leadership experience is also considered.
• Minimum 2 years managing QA activities or leading QA projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Selenium).
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of software development and web technologies.
