Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve uptime, stability, and performance across VMware and Docker Swarm environments.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Lead operational support activities: incident response, configuration management, and “keep the lights on” responsibilities.
• Manage and enhance TeamCity-based CI/CD pipelines, supporting multi-step, partially automated releases.
• Implement and enforce structured release management processes and quality gates.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement preventative measures.
• Improve automation and evolve pipelines toward zero-touch deployments.
• Expand containerization capabilities (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes) and improve orchestration reliability.
• Enhance infrastructure scalability to support rapid enterprise growth.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve deployment speed, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Introduce AI-driven efficiencies in monitoring, governance, and operational workflows (optional, if applicable).

Qualifications & Experience  

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Track record of leading or mentoring engineers on technical best practices.
• Expert knowledge of Docker Swarm and container orchestration.
• Extensive knowledge of VMware with a strong understanding of enterprise virtualization.
• Advanced experience with TeamCity CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in C#, Python, and SQL Server environments.
• In-depth understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident response governance.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud and on-prem VMware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
