Software Tester

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
• Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Identify, log, and track bugs/issues using tools like Jira, Trello, or Excel.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure product quality.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation & reports.
• Suggest improvements in testing processes and product quality.

Qualification & Experience

• 6 months of proven experience in software/manual testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) & STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Knowledge of different testing types: functional, regression, usability, performance.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Excel, or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must be available for full-time on-site role in Nagpur.
