Mechanical Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Identify and document supplier-related non-conformances using internal systems (e.g., SAP, QMS)
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
• Collaborate with suppliers to understand technical issues and failure modes
• Develop and validate corrective actions with suppliers
• Ensure preventive measures are implemented to avoid recurrence
• Interface with supplier quality engineers to resolve NCs.
• Track and follow up on open issues until closure.
