L3 Engineer – Technical Infra & M365

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Technical Infrastructure Support
• Act as L3 escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents
• Own incident management, RCA, and permanent resolution
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge-base documentation
• Conduct proactive health checks, capacity planning, and monitoring
• Microsoft 365
• Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD / Entra ID
• Manage tenant config, licenses, security & compliance policies
• Implement Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and DLP policies
• Lead M365 migrations, upgrades, and new rollouts
• Server
• Manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux environments
• Administer AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and File Services
• Handle VMware vSphere / ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
• Own patch management, server hardening, backup & DR operations
• Network
• Support enterprise LAN/WAN, VLAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure
• Administer firewalls (Fortinet / Palo Alto / Cisco ASA), switches, routers
• Manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs
• Troubleshoot network outages and coordinate with ISPs/vendors
• Team Mentoring
• Mentor and coach L1/L2 engineers through knowledge sharing
• Conduct technical training sessions and workshops
• Review incident resolutions and documentation quality
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations

Qualification & Experience  

• Deep expertise in M365 admin suite
• Windows Server administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
• Virtualization – VMware / Hyper-V
• Networking – TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, firewall management
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Jira) and ITIL process knowledge
• Preferred Certifications
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• AZ-104 – Azure Administrator Associate
• CCNA / CCNP or CompTIA Network+
• VCP – VMware Certified Professional
• ITIL v4 Foundation
