Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
Design, develop, debug, and execute automation test scripts for UI and API testing.
Plan and contribute to test strategy, test estimation, and quality metrics.
Perform functional, regression, and non-functional testing as required.
Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with developers and architects for resolution.
Actively participate in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
Drive test execution, reporting, and feature-level quality sign-off.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.E / B.Tech), or any relevant Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Testing with a strong focus on Automation Testing.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and enterprise product testing.
Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
Proven experience in end-to-end testing activities including test strategy, test design, test case creation, automation, execution, defect management, and feature sign-off.
Strong expertise in Automation Framework development and enhancement using:
Selenium / Playwright
Java or C#
TestNG or NUnit
Hands-on experience in API automation testing using frameworks such as REST Assured.
Experience in building automation solutions covering UI + API layers, preferably in microservices-based architecture.
Good conceptual understanding or hands-on experience with TDD/BDD frameworks (Cucumber / SpecFlow).
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps.
Proficient in Git-based version control systems.
Strong skills in debugging, problem-solving, and test automation design patterns (POM / Hybrid frameworks).
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder interaction ability.
