Managing a wide variety of TechOps systems and infrastructure, including PXE servers, proxies, OS deployment, CCTV systems, and physical access control.
Hands-on triage and technical support for Windows, Linux, and macOS devices.
Implementing, managing, and supporting network infrastructure, including UniFi routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
Monitor and troubleshoot the organization's systems, networks, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, incidents, and outages to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless user experience.
Perform system administration tasks, including server configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
Conduct IT security audits and implement appropriate measures to protect the organization's infrastructure and data.
Develop the documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
Provide technical expertise, mentoring, and overseeing of assigned work for TechOps team members.
Use team resources to accomplish higher-level objectives assigned by TechOps management.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Experience
Proven experience of 15+ years as an IT Engineer in a managerial position or similar role.
Minimum team management experience of 5 years.
Experience in Mac OS, Windows, and Linux operating systems (imaging, patch management, troubleshooting, etc.)
Experience in Mobile Device Management tools (Jumpcloud is a plus),
Experience in the Administration and management of Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and other commonly used Enterprise SaaS applications.
