Hardware and Networking Intern

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Assist in network management and troubleshooting, including routers and firewalls.
• Support with IP management, DHCP, DNS, and resolving basic network issues.
• Learn to configure and monitor firewalls and VPNs, including basic security measures.
• Help in managing endpoint security tools and antivirus solutions (Symantec, TrendMicro).
• Assist in the administration of Windows Servers (2008/2016/2019).
• Support in storage solutions setup and management (QNAP, Buffalo, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues, such as slowdowns and hardware malfunctions.
• Assist in asset management, including using tools for IT inventory management.
• Help with user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account management and setups.

Qualification & Experience    

• Basic knowledge of networking and firewall management.
• Familiarity with Windows Servers.
• Basic understanding of endpoint security tools.
• Good problem-solving skills for troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
