Karnataka PGCET is a state-level entrance test conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to MBA/ MCA/ ME/ MTech/ MArch programs offered by Karnataka’s Government / University/ Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions. Total 178 institutes in Karnataka participate in Karnataka PGCET for PG admission after qualifying this common entrance test.
Karnataka PGCET General Eligibility criteria
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Domicile: Candidates from the home state must have a domicile of Karnataka for getting a reservation.
- Other State Candidates: Candidates from other states can also apply for Karnataka PGCET but they will not be eligible for getting any reservation.

- According to Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern 2025, the exam is held as a Pen-paper test for a duration of 2 hours. There are 100 MCQs asked in English language only.
