About :Karnataka Examinations Authority has PGCET 2025 exam dates. Candidates aspiring for admission to MBA and MCA courses through Karnataka PGCET 2025 score will have to appear for the exam on June 22. KEA will host the PGCET MCA exam in the morning shift from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Whereas the Karnataka PGCET MBA exam will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. On the contrary, KEA will conduct the PGCET exam for ME/MTech/MArch admissions in a single shift on May 31. The exam will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

IELTS or International English Language Testing System is a standardised English proficiency examination taken by non-native speakers going to English-speaking countries to study, work or live. It is recognized and accepted by more than 9,000 organizations all around the world, including educational institutions, employers, governments and professional bodies. There are two types of IELTS examinations that serve different purposes: Academic and General.   Types of IELTS Exam The IELTS exam is available in two formats: IELTS Academic for candidates who are looking to study abroad in an English-speaking country and IELTS General for candidates who are looking to travel to English-speaking countries for immigration purposes. IDP IELTS – the conducting body of the IELTS exam offers the IELTS in two formats: IELTS on computer and IELTS on Paper. Candidates opting for the ‘IELTS on a computer’ will be required to use a computer to appear for the Reading, Listening and Writing sections of the IELTS exam. The face-to-face IELTS Speaking section would be required to be completed on the same day either just before or after the Reading, Listening and Writing tests. The GRE or Graduate Record Exam is taken by students who want to apply to graduate school in countries like the USA, the UK, Australia, etc. It is accepted by thousands of universities around the world. This exam is used as a measure of a student’s basic abilities in math, reading and essay writing. Generally, a 75th percentile is considered a pretty good GRE score. As for the near best, a 90th percentile is an excellent one. The test can be taken once every 21 days, that too, up to 5 times within any continuous rolling 12-month period (365 days). It might seem too good to be true but, this applies even if your scores were cancelled on a test taken previously.   GRE Exam Dates 2023: Students can book their GRE test dates once every 21 days, up to five times within any continuous rolling 12-month period (365 days). Now that GRE test centres are functioning at their normal capacity keeping student safety in mind. Candidates can go ahead and book their GRE exam dates 2023 at a test centre near them or take the GRE exam from the comfort of their home by opting for the GRE at Home test. The GRE at Home is available around the clock, 7 days a week, with appointments available as early as 24 hours after you register. However, candidates would need to meet the system and environment requirements to go ahead with booking their GRE exam dates. The GRE Subject Test dates are available three times a year and candidates can book their GRE Subject Test dates as often as they are available.    When should you take the GRE test? A lot of times, candidates are confused about the right time to take the GRE test. Experts suggest that the right time to book your first GRE test date should be 60-70 days prior to your first university admission deadline. GRE scores are available 10 to 15 days from the day of the exam. This way, candidates would have enough time to book a second GRE test date if the GRE results don't yield as planned. TOEFL refers to the Test of English as a Foreign Language.It is a valid and reliable test with unbiased, objective scoring. Hence, the TOEFL test confirms that a student has the English language skills that are needed to achieve academic success. TOEFL score is accepted by more than 8,500 colleges, universities, and agencies in 130 countries. It is administered at more than 4,500 test centres in 180 countries. One’s TOEFL scores are valid until two years after the declaration of one’s result. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The TOEFL exam is administered using the computer-based TOEFL iBT format. The alternative paper-delivered method can only be used in locations lacking an internet connection. The TOEFL exam syllabus, which gauges each of the four communication skills - reading, listening, speaking, and writing—is preferred by educational institutions. The TOEFL exam is approved for employment and immigration purposes as well as for entrance to more than 11,000 colleges and institutions in 150 different countries. The computer-based TOEFL test is administered more than 60 times annually and can be taken at designated testing centers. The availability of TOEFL test dates and testing sites can be checked by candidates before registering for the TOEFL exam 2023.    TOEFL 2024 Latest updates Candidates who have already registered for the upcoming TOEFL iIBT (Internet Based Test) will have the option to reschedule their TOEFL test date free of cost. SAT is globally recognized as a college admission test.  It is a standardized entrance test used by most colleges and universities in the US to make admission decisions. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications / Software development)/ BBA (Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects OR ii) B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized University/Institution are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2022.Conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted. Admissions to all the programmes are subject to the conditions given below:The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry andMathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in the 12 th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects. Only Students who are appearing for the 12th examination in 2025 or who have passed the 12th Examination in 2023 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2025 test. If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in the 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed. Students who have passed the 12th examination in 2023 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2025. Students who are presentlystudying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2025. Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT-2025. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the 12th examination, as mentioned above. Direct Admission to Board Toppers: In the past, admission process of the Institute always ensured guaranteed admission to all the students who obtained first ranks in their respective board examinations.This has given a very vital input of highly meritorious students from all over India. First rank students of State and Central boards in India for the year 2025 will be given direct admission to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2025 score as per the eligibility criteria.   BITSAT-2025 Participation: A candidate may appear a maximum of two times in BITSAT-2025. BITSAT-2025 will be held in two sessions: Session-1 (21st May to 26th May 2025) and Session-2 (22nd June to 26th June 2025). A candidate may opt for Session-1 or BOTH. A candidate may opt to appear twice, even at the time of the first application. For a candidate who has appeared twice in BITSAT-2025, and then seeks admission to any of the First Degree programmes (B.E., M.Sc., B.Pharm.) in BITS Pilani, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.     Exam Pattern Each session of BITSAT-2025 will be of total 3-hour duration (without break). The tests' sessions consist of four parts: All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark). No marks are awarded for questions not attempted.While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose morethan one option as the correct answer.There will be 130 questions in all. About JEE(Main) 2025 The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions with a mission to improve equity and quality in education by developing and administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair and international level assessments. NTA has created a system that is promoting teaching (by teachers), learning (by students), and assessment (by parents and institutions). NTA strongly believes in the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and security of assessments. To practice these values, NTA is constantly engaging with its stakeholders, viz. students, parents, teachers, experts, and partner institutions. The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.   Exam Pattern The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.   Age Limit For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) in which they are desirous of taking admission.   List of Qualifying Examinations (QE) The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council forthe Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office,Geneva. Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.
