About University of Lucknow
The University of Lucknow (informally known as Lucknow University, and LU) is a public state university based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1867, the University of Lucknow is one of the oldest government owned institutions of higher education in India. LU's main campus is located at Badshah Bagh, University Road area of the city with a second campus at Jankipuram.
About UGET
Candidates are required to take the UGET exam for admission to the various under graduate courses like BCA of the university.
Mode of Admission

Admissions for BCA program shall be on the basis of marks obtained in Undergraduate Entrance test (UGET) of the University.

Order of Merit will be determined as follows :

If two or more candidates have secured equivalent marks/rank in the merit list, then the merit for admission will be determined as follows:-

The candidate, who has secured higher percentage of marks in Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination or Polytechnic Diploma, will be given preference.

If the marks secured in class 12 or equivalent examination or Polytechnic Diploma are the same in such cases first preference will be given to the candidate who has secured higher percentage of marks in High School or equivalent examination.

The candidate shall be entitled to weightages (if any) on the merit.
Paper Pattern

Exam will be MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based

The number of questions in Entrance Test of all Programmes will be 100 each
-
Each question will carry 02 marks.

There will be no negative marking.

The duration of Entrance Test will be of 90 minutes for all programmes.
