WordPress Developer Intern

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates
• Build and manage landing pages and marketing pages
• Integrate plugins and third-party tools as required
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and SEO-friendly
• Optimize website performance (speed, Core Web Vitals, etc.)
• Assist in implementing tracking, analytics, and forms
• Troubleshoot bugs and maintain site health
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams for implementation

Qualification & Experience     

• Basic understanding of WordPress (themes, plugins, dashboard)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor / Gutenberg
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Basic knowledge of SEO fundamentals
• Ability to learn quickly and implement feedback
• Portfolio or sample work (preferred)
• Experience with custom theme development
• Knowledge of PHP and WordPress hooks
• Familiarity with website speed optimization tools
• Experience with hosting, domains, and deployments
• Understanding of conversion-focused landing pages
