Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates for the exam, admitting them to the exam, conducting the exam in the prescribed mode, display of answer keys and inviting challenges, finalizing the answer keys, processing the results and handing over the results to BHU.     About BHU-PET Admission to Master courses have been through CUTE (PG ) exam.     Eligiblity criteria for M.Sc. in Computational Science and Applications B.Sc. (Hons.)/B.Sc. under 10+2+3 pattern securing 50% pattern securing 50% marks in aggregate in science subjects (considering all the three years of B.Sc. courses). The candidate must have studied Honours in Computer Science or studied the subject Computer Science in all the three years at Graduation level

About Common University Entrance Test (CUET) The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for academic session 2025-26 under the Ministry  of Education, (MoE). About NIMCET National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are Institutions of National Importance Under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. The NIMCET is a Common Entrance National Level Test, conducted by any of the NITs, for admission in to their MCA programme. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. The admission into the MCA programme for the year 2023-24 in above 09 NITs is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2024 only.      Eligiblity Criteria Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in (i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications / Software development)/ BBA (Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects OR ii) B.E./B.Tech. from a recognized University/Institution are eligible to appear for NIMCET-2022.Conversion of scored marks from CGPA to percentage and vice-versa is not permitted. About JEE(Main) 2025 The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions with a mission to improve equity and quality in education by developing and administering research-based valid, reliable, efficient, transparent, fair and international level assessments. NTA has created a system that is promoting teaching (by teachers), learning (by students), and assessment (by parents and institutions). NTA strongly believes in the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and security of assessments. To practice these values, NTA is constantly engaging with its stakeholders, viz. students, parents, teachers, experts, and partner institutions. The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.   Exam Pattern The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.   Age Limit For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) in which they are desirous of taking admission.   List of Qualifying Examinations (QE) The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council forthe Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination. A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 years duration. General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office,Geneva. Candidates who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India or from a Board not specified above should produce a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination. About GATE 2025 The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program and Recruitment by some Public Sector Companies. GATE 2025 is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Rourkee and six other Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.     Eligiblity A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program. About JEE The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. It is constituted by two different examinations: the JEE-Main and the JEE-Advanced.     Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals Appearing for JEE (Advanced)  All the candidates must simultaneously fulfil each and every one of the following five criteria to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2024.   Criterion 1 - Performance in JEE (Main)  Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2024. The percentages of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is OPEN for all. Within each of these five categories, 5% horizontal reservation is available for PwD candidates. Criterion 2 - Age limit Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e., these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.   Criterion 3 - Number of attempts A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) maximum of two times in two consecutive years.   Criterion 4 - Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2022 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered. Note: By appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, it is meant that the board concerned declared the result for that year irrespective of whether or not examination was conducted. It will be considered as an appearance even if the result of a particular candidate got withheld. However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2021-22 on or after Sep 21 ,2022, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their Class XII exam in 2022 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria. In case the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2021- 22 before October Sep 21 ,2022 but the result of a particular candidate was withheld, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024. Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs: A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT through JoSAA 2023 irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. About CMAT The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions. Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019. The CMAT-2025 will be conducted by the NTA.   About CAT Exam The Common Admission Test (CAT) is India’s most prestigious national level entrance examination, which permits aspirants to get into top management institutes. There is no doubt that it is the biggest MBA entrance test in the country. The IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) conduct this Common Admission Test on a rotational basis.     Eligiblity The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% inthe case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons withDisability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD,Government of India. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination andthose who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally,only if they submit a certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all therequirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of issue of the certificate. Candidates applying for CAT 2022 should fulfill any one of the following conditions: Completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks*.
